The times have been rough as of late in the Empire of HImaryn. Illness has struck many citizens bedridden, and disease is a heavy concern. The weather is colder than usual these months, and the ground has frosted over several times in the night; no doubt this will be harsh on the harvests.
Many members are absent this term of the Chanting. The current Lord Premier Octavian, for example, is ill and unable to attend the Chanting. However, rest assured that a summary of the events here will promptly be delivered to him.
As the colder months turn in, and economists forecast poor harvests, the prospects of the Kingdom's immediate future is grim.
