No New Posts The Peasant Farmlands

North of the City Kosov's walls, the road is flanked on both sides by peasant farmlands. They are mostly fields of Maurigras and other essential foodstuffs that are easily grown, compacted, and sent into the city as bales of common fodder to be sold. Recently, innovative meat-eating merchants have also experimented with breeding livestock haerla and enclosing them on grazing plantations, but these domestication attempts haven't been successful on a large scale yet.

No New Posts The Signpost of Many Places

The Signpost is one of the most famous landmarks in all Himaryn, as it is the only four-way split in the Great East-West Road. North leads to the Sehali, East to Nairsov, West to Hashira, and South to the City of Kosov. A massive signpost marks such information in the excess, as there are plaques pointing to the most obscure destinations. It is sort of a practical joke to citizens; vagrants without anything to do have been known in the past to have put up ridiculous signs to non-existent places, and even mix up legitimate signs to confuse wayward travelers.

No New Posts Linwood Grove

Located south of the capital road and flanking the city, Linwood Grove is a small forest that grows near the foot and along the slopes of Palmari Mountains. Due to its proximity to Kosov City, it is unfortunately over-hunted and exploited. Despite the difficulty of finding good prey here, it is generally a pretty forest that is comfortable for long walks in the afternoon light with trusted acquaintances.

Board Description
The Great East-West Road
Just outside of the walls of Kosov, the Great East-West Road was constructed in the Golden Era to serve as part of the great Imperial road network. While the project was never fully completed, the best sections are located in the peripheral farmlands around District Kosov. Traveling east along the road will eventually lead one to the old capital of District Nair, and westward travel leads to Faralyn.
