No New Posts Krishna's Ravine

A great earthquake several few hundred seasons ago opened a great cleft in the earth on the Sehali. This narrow ravine is precipous and separates the Sehali from Malenhal Savannah. It is actually not very wide; an athletic nyala or mountain goat could probably jump the span. One wouldn't want to fall though, as the chasm is several hundred feet deep. The only means of crossing the ravine is to either avoid it completely by going around, or by chancing on the many improvised bridges and rotten logs.

No New Posts The Baobab Tree

The most famous landmark in Malenhal Savannah is this enormous baobab tree located in the middle of savannah. By some freak of nature, it towers above everything else. It even makes the other normal baobab trees around it look like small shrubs and dwarf plants. It is the favored lurking spot of angry xenophobes and recluses wanting nothing to do with politics or "tourists," since the Great Road runs nowhere close to the Baobab Tree.

No New Posts The Malenhal Watering Hole

The water in Malenhal Watering Hole is not very attractive. As it is murky and brown, it is difficult to see under the surface of water and identify what is lying in wait. The watering hole here is home to one of the few predatory haerla species in Himaryn: the crocodile. Knowing this, would your characters dare quench their thirst here?

Board Description
Malenhal Savannah
Years ago, an earthquake split the earth and created a steep ravine that divided the Sehali. The eastern portion has since then been called Malenhal Savannah, after the excessive abundance of native prickly shrubs known as Malenhals. The eastern savannah receives little rain and is more dust-ridden than its western counterpart, but the Malenhal has watering holes and several small meandering rivers that do not dry up seasonally like those in the Sehali.
