No New Posts Flume Mountain

The descent on the far side of Altarspire is ridiculously painless and simple compared to the weeks and moons spent climbing the plateau and traversing the Quabri. A great course of rapids flow downhill from the Quabri, leading to the edges of the Great Wild. Following the rapids is the easiest course down the plateau. Some have even navigated rafts down the rapids with substantial success, though the journey must have been very high tension and full of wet splash!

No New Posts Revir Eithe Forest

On the far side of Altarspire, the rapids from Flume Mountain run into a great expanse of dark forest known as the Revir Eithe Forest. This region is little settled, and even less explored—few know of the strange beasts that lurk in the forests of the Revir Eithe. The ancestors of dragons and unicorns were reputed to have come from this corner of the world, though it is also the home of stranger creatures no one has ever heard of.

No New Posts The Arch of Ancients - 1 Viewing

To the first glance of visitors, the most memorable landmark of the Revir Eithe Forest that can be immediately seen is the Arch of Ancients. It is stone gate that stands alone in the middle of clearing, curiously isolated in a fashion that no one can comprehend what it was used for. Why construct a functioning door and gate when one could merely walk around it? Mysteries... mysteries... all associated with the new world. There are illegible symbols and pictographs inscribed on the surface of the gate.

Board Description
The Beyondlands
So what is the attraction of trekking for days up the mountains into the Altarspire, braving the ice and cold of the Quabri, and gambling one's life for the sake of exploration? The answer: Beyondlands. As the rumors have it, the valleys of the Great Wild are more fertile, the forests more lush, and the prey easy for the pickings. No barbarians live here (though there are indeed some strange bizarre creatures...), and it is far from the problems of a worldly Himaryn. It is, quite fairly, a garden beyond the hills.
