As the functional headquarters of Himaryn, its marble edifices contain libraries, law courts, council chambers, and a complement of miscellaneous rooms. It is the largest building complex in City Kosov.

There are approximately five-hundred-and-four dwellings carved into the cliff face across the twelve levels of the Tower Wards. Not all are residences—some are shops, hostels, warehouses, and public rest-houses. Regardless, the better residences are in the upper levels of the Ward, and they're full of valuable belongings. If only one could pick the locks and disable the warding spells...

No New Posts The Stairwell of Eleven Gates

As the spiraling path that takes one up the Tower Wards from Lower Kosov, the stairwell is a long slope that stretches across the entire length of the U-shaped cliff eleven times. At each level is a gate named after the Old Nairsovian terms for virtue and vice. After dark, access up the Stairwell is restricted to reduce crime.

Board Description
Tower Wards
A majority of Kosov's wealthiest residents live in intricately carved residences along the cliff stairwell. During the night, these citizens can afford to illuminate their dens with magical fire, so the face of the U-shaped cliff is said to light up from the hundreds of residences lined against the stone face. The higher one travels up the Tower Wards, the more elaborate and elegant the dwellings become.
