The Stairwell of Eleven Gates

As the spiraling path that takes one up the Tower Wards from Lower Kosov, the stairwell is a long slope that stretches across the entire length of the U-shaped cliff eleven times. At each level is a gate named after the Old Nairsovian terms for virtue and vice. After dark, access up the Stairwell is restricted to reduce crime.
