The Icefields

The Icefields of the Quabri are so high in altitude that it does not even snow. The ice sheets here are permanent, impenetrable, and simply flat without ornamentation. As a result, wind rips viciously across the Quabri unimpeded, and it is impossible for travelers to find shelter as there is nothing to hide behind or burrow under. The trek across the Quabri takes days, so it is absolutely imperative that a traveling team come prepared with fire and wind mages willing to shield the party from the dangerous Quabri winds.
