No New Posts Lake Muorii

A small settlement is located at Lake Muorii on the foot of the Couseran Mountains, inhabited mostly by relatively reclusive individuals. As it is isolated from the Himaryn by the Great Forest, locals here often do not receive news until it is weeks later. Nonetheless, the mountain lakes of the region are very beautiful, crisp, and delicately clean. It is the perfect retreat for those who wish to recuperate from an injury or spend time away from the stress of imperial complexities.

No New Posts Falls of Eydweis

The Falls of Eydweis have their source high in the Couseran Mountains. Pouring over from a mysterious subterranean outlet nearly 1000 feet above ground level, the narrow stream of the water spills across multiple terraces before calming into a small river. As a result, the region is rather misty and humid due to all the water in the air.

No New Posts Descalze's Pass

Near the southern corner of the Couseran range, there is a gap in the mountains known as Descalze's Pass. This is the formal entrance in Altarspire, simply because it is the easiest way to approach the heights of Altaspire plateau. The pass itself is notable because the mountain slopes are formed nearly entirely of small rubble. Hence, a misstep could lead one slipping uncontrollably down slopes, with an avalanche of rubble following suite.

Board Description
Couseran Mountains
Of the three great mountain ranges of Himaryn, the Couseran Mountains are the oldest and thus the most weathered in topography. Vegetation and forest blankets the slopes of the Couserans Mountains, and a thick mist shrouds the higher altitudes. This range forms the western border of the Himaryn Empire.
