The Mastif Precipices
The entire region of the Steppes is geographically elevated compared to the rest of the Sehali, so reaching the Steppes first entails climbing a series of dry slopes known as the Mastif Precipices. The Mastifs are generally relatively rocky, but they are composed more of clay and large boulders. Large bounds are required to scramble up the massive rock shelves, and it helps to be long-limbed.
