The Caravan Trails - 1 Viewing The great expanse of the Alescora dunes is continuous and essentially never-ending. There is "another side," somewhere, as peaceable barbarian desert nomads will vaguely refer to a garden in the east, but who would believe those unreliable traders of broken trinkets? One can find these barbarian nomads by following the nightly trail of abandoned gypsy encampments, provided the wind doesn't bury the traces too quickly with sand. |

Valley of Pearls Hidden deep in the Alescora, is a sheltered dry valley that is essentially separated from the rest of the desert. Here, the famous silver Lescela flowers bloom every night, reflecting the light of the moon like pearls. Alescora fireflies are known to fill the sky to the brim during mating season, and the tapestry of stars on a cloudless night only magnifies the brilliance of the scene. It is a panorama that all Himarynians should see at least once in their lifetimes. |

The Expanse Beyond the caravan route of the desert nomads, the Alescora is one great expanse without landmarks or identifying features. It is sand, sun, heat, wind, sand, and even more sand, that continues on for what may as well be eternity. At a certain point, it becomes difficult to distinguish how long or how far one has traveled, as the dunes are constantly shifting. Only those with brave hearts should venture into the great Alescora Expanse. |
