Hear ye, hear ye! Herald speaking!
The nights are getting chillier as we enter our third moon of the summer season! Autumn is on our doorstep, and we old 'uns can feel the shiver in our bones at the dead of the night. In a short several weeks, the leaves will be a-dropping in the forests of Faralyn. How is the kingdom of Himaryn these days, you must ask?
Fair, fair, but little better than fair.
The comfortable days are ending as the dry season rolls around. Already, the streams and brooks in the Malenhal Savannah are drying, and the haerla herds will soon take their migratory journey north beyond the borders of our beloved Sehali. As usual, prey shall be scarce, and Hunger will lurk the streets once the haerla herds leave our lands. Merchants these days will take it into their minds to hoard meat, and the money-inclined would do well to prepare for this annual drought.
The internal intricacies of our kingdom have been clouded of late, as the hot-headed of Himaryn have been unusually silent. No word of new arrests, assassinations, or major turning events. The Sha'za Organization has apparently dropped into the shadows, and even their criminal activity has diminished.
Must I comment: It is the calm before the storm.
That is all, fellow watchers of Himaryn. Keep and touch, and remember, the 1216th Chanting of Himaryn shall begin on October 1st, 2012. Save this date, because you don't want to miss another turn of drama and action!
