Normal Speech Thought Other
The white owl's beak hung open at the sight. Gorgeous green fields surrounded her, filled with orchards of all kinds. Large forests dotted the horizon. At first she thought it was all a dream. Azura had only seen the harsh winters of Winterheld before she decided to run away. Even the summer heat that engulfed the landscape was somewhat new to her. Sure, she had been to other places with heat like this, but it was nothing compared to this. The humidity in the air was thick, causing her to grow weary every second she was exposed to it.
Gaining her composure--and hoping no one saw her with her beak agape--Azura hobbled along a wore path, too tired to fly. A lone stream caught her eye. That would be the perfect place to cool off! She half-flew over to the stream and dipped her fluffy talons in. The cool water felt amazing as it rushed by her feet. She took a few gulps of water in to cool her insides, then stepped out of the stream. Now that she had some energy, she had to get down to business.
During her travels, she had heard of a great weaponsmith in Faralyn. The only information she received was that it was run by a fox. Some tip that was. There could be hundreds of foxes running around here! Well, all she had to do was look through a few shops and see if a fox was running it. That could take all day, she thought. And my feathers would get dirty from all the walking. Oh well, I guess it would be worth it in the end. Azura took flight, her great white wings laboring in the heat of the day.
She flew from shop to shop, looking for foxes, even weapons, but found none. Her pride prevented her from asking others about the fox. She wanted the liberty to discover it herself. It was toward midday when she decided to take a break. She had reached a random shop and perched next to it. Walking to the front, she saw an assortment of weapons. As she entered, she saw that no one was at the counter. Perhaps she should steal something and sell it later to another shop? No, there may be enchantments on the merchandise.
"Hello?" she called, hoping that someone was here. Otherwise this trip would have been a waste. Going back to Winterheld would be a good idea. After all, the famous Groriar probably has a better set of weapons than this shack. And hopefully cheaper.

regular, speech, thoughts, other(s) The day had been a busy one at the Silver Moon Blacksmith and Kamii was exhausted and proud at the same time. The animals of Himaryn were finally starting to take a serious interest in her family’s business and Kamii was the proud face of said business. She was skilled with the forge and the fire, but not as skilled as her parents were. Nonetheless she was still learning but for now she managed the shop and its sales. Today was an especially hot today and Kamii’s large bat-like ears were burning up as they regulated the warm blood that flowed through them. Sometimes she envied the wolves and dogs for the ability to throw out their tongues and cool off in that manner, but for now her ears were doing fine.
Kamii took a few steps out of the shop and into the cool breeze of Faralyn. Trees and vegetation grew strong here and dotted the landscape in huge numbers. Kamii’s shop was carved out in the trunk of a magnificently large tree and the natural wonder of it all was beautiful. The little beige fennec fox was completely content to stay here forever and a little smile engulfed her kissers as she walked further away from the shop for a small moment. She reveled in the beauty around her and somehow lost track of time…
The sudden flap of wings alerted her. Her bat-like ears could hear things many others can’t, in fact she could even hear mice underground. Right now though she had heard these flapping wings and they had resounded close to her shop. She turned and dashed back, hearing the familiar call of “Hello…” just as she neared her precious shop. A brilliant white owl sat perched in one of the hollowed out tree’s branches. Kamii trotted closer with a pleasant smile as she slowed her heart down.
“Greetings traveler, what can I do for you?”
