~ Kosov’s Grand Textile Street

In East Lower Kosov’s Grand Bazaar, there is a famous avenue called the Grand Textile Street, renowned for the sheer amount of cloth merchants who set up their street shops all along the space. Many of them are foreigners, bearing everything from exotic clothes from countries beyond the Barbarian Lands, to basic everyday goods needed by everyone. If you are looking for a good deal, you should approach one of these merchants and haggle with them to get prices down (see here).
However, if you’re looking for basic textiles, you can head to the main plaza, where there are general stores owned by locals. These are open year-round and nearly all hours of the day. However, the store owners in the main plaza don’t like to haggle, and won’t give you any prices lower than these.
The following goods are offered in the General Textile Stores of the main plaza:

CLOTH UTILITIES
CLOTH BANDAGE - 200 Talcs, EACH
∗ Simple bandage that can be wound around wounds, or it can be used to conceal stray marks or scars on arms or legs.
SMALL CLOTH BAG - 300 Talcs, EACH
∗ A small cloth bag or sack that can be filled with various goods or items. Comes in various shapes, and is best for carrying small racks, pebbles, or stones.
MEDIUM CLOTH BAG - 500 Talcs
∗ A medium cloth bag or sack that can be filled with various goods or items. Comes in various shapes, and is about the size of a regular human purse.
LARGE SACK - 700 Talcs
∗ A large sack is best for carrying large quantities of fruit, miscellaneous material, and so-forth. Large sacks are usually too large to be carried on a belt or carried by a regular-sized character, so it must be dragged or put on a cart.
BASKET - 800 Talcs
∗ Straw basket that can be used for carrying various items.
ANIMAL SKIN FLASK – 600 Talcs
∗ Good for storing or carrying fluids such as water or other beverages.
BELT (or STRAP) – 500 Talcs, EACH

∗ A lightweight square piece of cloth that can be used for many purposes. They are available in multiple colors and are often patterned with various designs.
WOOLEN SCARF - 2,000 Talcs
∗ A long woolen scarf that is good for keeping warm. They are available in multiple colors and may come with various designs knitted in.
SILK SCARF - 5,000 Talcs
∗ An exotic, lightweight long scarf that was delicately fabricated by eastern silk-weaving masters from beyond the desert. They are imported materials with intricate and elaborate designs.
MASK - 1,000 Talcs
∗ A cloth mask that covers the face. It has slits for eyeholes.
VEIL - 2,000 Talcs
∗ A transparent silk veil that covers the eyes and hangs from the forehead. It comes in multiple colors and sizes.
SIMPLE HAT – 1,500 Talcs
∗ A straw or cloth hat, quickly made simply for the purpose to keep out the sun.
REGULAR HAT – 3,000 Talcs
∗ A typical well-made hat, custom-made to fit an individual’s head. Can be decorated with flowers or feathers.

∗ Long, feathered headdresses of varying design. Each one is unique, and may be made of any combination of feathers, beads, shells, stones, and virtually anything.

∗ A flowing cape for flashy individuals. Comes in various sizes and colors.
SHAWL - 3,000 Talcs
∗ A woolen piece of cloth that drapes over one’s back. It is ideal for blocking the sun or concealing parts of the body.
OVERCOAT - 6,000 Talcs
∗ A long thick weatherproof coat (or drape) ideal for travelers. It covers the full body and shields one quite well from rain and wind. It buckles or draws a string at the neck.
