Hey Sym members! Because we love you for sticking around, we're going to lay down some guides for getting everything ported over to this new version of Himaryn as easily as we can. We're not going to make you buy those dragons of yours.[/b];; In full.
First, please post here with a link to your Symbiosis user profile. We're going to transfer your talcs and this just makes it easier on us and quicker for you, so you can get to buying anything new that catches your eye.
Next, about those characters. On this version we recommend four or less, though you can port over as many as you like. Keep in mind most histories will have to be radically rewritten for those that you do choose to keep, if you've written them. Please fill out this form for each character you wish to port. This form does not substitute for the traditional biography application, you still have to do those!
Species;; Yep.
Gender/Age/State;; State meaning seir, kuma, etc.
Bio Link;; Please make this clickable.
Intended Element;; Choose ONE and only ONE. Some elements have changed so please look over the magic threads. Dual-elementals exist on Himaryn, but they are incredibly rare and usually have devoted their entire lives to magical study. These may end up being part of a site event.
Intended Magic Level;; We're ditching the numeric level system, so the new levels translate as thus: Basic:1-3, Medial:4-6, Advanced:7-10, and a Sage is still a Sage.
Intended Clan;; Clan has very little to do with species anymore, so please read the clan summaries before choosing.
Intended Position/Occupation;; This is pretty loose and we only have a few defined ranks. If you're eying a high position, anything marked "Played by ????" is open. If more than one person claims a single spot either they will have to negotiate, or staff will host and judge tryouts. Characters that were high-ranking on Sym don't have priority over those that weren't.
Family: If any played family will for certain be ported over, please list their names and exact relation here (and their player if they are not owned by you).
Extras;; If the character has any physical add-ons that were purchased on Sym (weird fur, eyes, clothes, etc) please list them.[/ul]
Things that do not transfer are TOMES, HISTORIES, and RANKS. Tomes because so many have been removed or reworked, and histories/ranks because new site, new setting.
So, reply here with a link to your Symbiosis user profile and a completed form for each of your characters to be ported.
